Kata World Championships 2010
The KATA World Championships will be held in Budapest 25-26th of May. The event will join all competitors from KATA including the Grand Master age category. The final rules will be available from 1th of March 2010 on the website.

No Upper Age Limit
IJF decide to accept all age categories in the competitions organized under its authority. All competitors must present medical insurance and sign a declaration about their health responsibilities.

Golden score
Golden score will be used for all Grand Masters events. The timing will be of 1 minute.

Back Patches for judogi will be available in Budapest - with sewing facilities
For the Wold Championships in Budapest this year, masters do not have to use the new official back numbers; the official supplier will be at the event so all competitors can order on site.

New rules for the Grand Masters Championship
The NEW fighting rules will be used in all IJF master events. The IJF Refereeing Commission and TI Commission has launched an online video channel to clarify all possible doubts concering the new rules.
